Title: Great hotel for a family visit
My wife says that it would have been great if the hotel had a dedicated play area for younger children.

The Langdale Boutique Hotel By Amaya provided a delightful and cozy atmosphere that I found incredibly appealing. The hotel's decor exuded a charming old-world elegance, with beautiful antique furniture and tastefully arranged artwork. The general areas of the hotel were thoughtfully designed, allowing easy navigation for seniors like myself. I particularly appreciated the comfortable seating areas where I could relax and enjoy the stunning views of the surrounding tea farms.
I would have loved to see more activities or entertainment options catered specifically to senior guests. It would have been nice to have a few more organized events or social gatherings to meet other like-minded individuals.

Beautiful hotel in relaxing setting with great climate.
It's a bit far from Nuwara Eliya but the setting more than makes up for it.

Excellent location, manicured gardens, well done up rooms, responsive and helpful staff. Spa is good with good masseur, though a tad expensive.
1. Dinner - food was not upto expectation. Quality of food needs to improve considerably. Presentation was good ie the food looked better than it tasted. 2. Ordered white wine for dinner, cost LKR 750 but gave only less than half a glass! Not value for money at all. Same price in similar hotels they give a full glass. 2. Large bathroom but shower cubicle too small, the booking said "room with bathtub" but there was none. 3. WIFI was not working throughout the duration of my stay.

Excellent cuisine (both Western and Sri Lankan). Very friendly and obliging staff. Scenery was brilliant.
The approach road from Nuwara Eliya was under widening works and was very bad. I understand that it will be like this for another year or two. Pity. The water pressure in the showers could do with some increase.
